March 20, 2020

With an array of instrumentation and styles, Paddywhack performs traditional folk music of the British Isles. Billed as Nebraska’s original Irish band, the trio of musicians offers a stunning variety of musical styles, songs, and dance tunes, complemented by rich vocal harmonies. The group’s repertoire includes a cappella sea shanties, Irish pub sing-alongs, provocative ballads, rebel songs, jigs, and reels. Their varied instrumentation includes guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, tin whistle, accordion, hammered dulcimer, mandocello, piano, bodhran (Irish drum) and more. The group appears at the RCOH through the support of the Nebraska Arts Council’s Touring Program and includes Lincoln-area musicians Terry Keefe, David Marsh, and Jenn Duerr.
