Join us for a fun night of spirited and a good natured competition to compete for the title of “Best Soup Chef of Webster County!" Sign up now  below to particiapte in the December Night Soup Showdown to be held December 3rd. No entry fee to participate! Completed forms must be submitted by November 24th.

Three prizes will be awarded!

Popular Vote: Encourage friends, family members and guests to vote for your tasty soup with monetary donations.  The contestant with the highest donation wins!

Taster’s Choice: NEW! Three tasters will sample soups in an undisclosed location—free from names,  décor and the excitement of the sales pitch they will pick the “2017 Taster’s Choice”

Presentation: Time to bust out your best chicken suit and Christmas décor! Things are about to heat up.  The prize for presentation will be voted on by a panel of three judges.

Each prize includes a gift basket from Auld Public Library & TWO season passes to Red Cloud Opera House events!

Information

Each participant needs to provide one large roaster of soup.
Participants are asked to be at the Opera House by 4:30 p.m. on December 3rd.
Event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on December 3rd.
The Willa Cather Foundation will provide tables for all entries. 
Wine, beer, or alcohol pairings will be available for purchase at the Opera House bar. Note that the liquor license does not allow for outside alcohol.
Participants may bring food items to accompany soup and may decorate tables.
Electronic table lights or decorations must be battery operated.
Space is limited to 15 entrants.

Proceeds

Remember, it's all in the name of fun and to support children's programming. Proceeds from free-will   offerings of attendees will support Missoula  Children’s Theater at The Red Cloud Opera House and Grow Readers/1000 Books before Kindergarten at the Auld Public Library.
