Red Cloud Tourism & Commerce still has leftover raffle tickets for a Traeger Pro-Series Grill from the March 6th Farmers & Merchants Banquet. Tickets are $20 and available from Adam Vetter at Heritage Bank (drive-thru or call at 402-746-2251) or send Adam a payment via Venmo via the user name @Adam-Vetter. Proceeds will support the Red Cloud Chamber of Commerce and allow them to continue doing events like Street Car Days, the Shopping Extravaganza, children's events at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. It will also allowed continue support of programs that benefit small businesses like our Storefront Improvement and Utility rebate grants.

Because of COVID-19, this year's Easter events were cancelled. Red Cloud Tourism & Commerce's sponsorship of the Mesner Puppet Theatre's performance of "Anansi the Spider and Other Tales" was also cancelled. Luckily, however, the Red Cloud Opera House has booked the same theatre group for a Christmas themed performance in December that RC Tourism & Commerce will also sponsor. Stay tuned for more details.

In the meantime, please enjoy this reading of "Anansi the Spider" by Director f Tourism & Commerce, Jarrod McCartney. McCartney also provides an overview of the Wandering Spirit Wax Prints Exhibit which was recently on display at the Red Cloud Opera House Art Gallery.
