RED CLOUD--RCCF recently elected officers for the 2022-23 year. Jarrod McCartney was re-elected as Chair, Danny Benge as Vice Chair, Stacie Heldt as Secretary and Dennis Hansen as Treasurer. Additional members are Ashley Armstrong, Kim Ely, Miles McDole, Ashley Olson, Adam Vetter, and John A (Jay) Yost. RCCF welcomes anyone interested in joining a subcommittee, including the Recreation & Health, Scholarship, Community Engagement, Youth Development, and E3 (Energizing Entrepreneurial Ecosystems). The Community Engagement Committee of RCCF has decided to move the Annual Celebration from alumni weekend to the Friday prior to Thanksgiving starting in November 2023. It is hoped that the move to November will encourage more community involvement at the event, which Community Engagement Committee members hope to model the November celebration after similar events that take place in the communities of Campbell and Diller annually. These events are simultaneously community celebrations, fundraisers, and opportunities to thank donors and volunteers all while providing a quality meal and entertainment. RCCF is not abandoning Alumni Weekend--a smaller alumni gathering and the 5K Color Run will still be features of the weekend.
