RCCF Selects Jordan Brown and Jasmin Menke as 2020 Scholarship Winners; Deb Langer receives non-traditional scholarship

The Red Cloud Community Fund is pleased to announce its 2020 annual scholarship winners. Jordan Brown, RCHS Class of 2020, was the recipient of the Red Cloud Community Fund scholarship which is funded in part by the Kinman-Oldfield Trust. Jasmin Menke of Blue Hill received the Clint Erickson Memorial Scholarship, which goes to an outstanding student-athlete in the Red Cloud, Blue Hill, Franklin, and Silver Lake school districts. Deb Langer, an employee at the Webster County Community Hospital, received the John & Dorothy Sherwood Memorial Scholarship which goes to a non-traditional student looking to advance their careers and/or improve their skillsets. RCCFF encourages applications for the non-traditional scholarships from anyone who wants to live or work in Red Cloud, preferably within a 10 mile radius. During a normal year, RCCF announces scholarship winners in April or May and honors them at their annual banquet during Alumni Weekend. Due to COVID-19, RCCF will attempt to do so next year alongside the 2021 winners.
